Who Are We?

By some counts there are over 1300 different denominations in the United States, each claiming to follow God's will, yet each practicing different beliefs. Since God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33), not all of these groups have His approval. Is it possible to know which group is correct, or does it even make a difference?

Jesus Christ does not approve of division among His followers. He prayed to His Father that His disciples would be ONE, not splintered into 1300 pieces (John 17:21). And, the Savior taught that what you believe does make a difference. In Matthew 15:13, He stated, "Every plant which My heavenly Father did not plant shall be rooted up."

Since not all religions are pleasing to God, how can I know which one I should practice? How can we reach Jesus' goal of unity? 

​

We believe that if men would set aside the dogmas, doctrines, and denominations of men, and simply go back to the Bible, we could be what they were in the first century... Christians and only Christians - nothing more, nothing less, nothing else.

​

By going back to the Bible and setting aside the commandments of men, we can simply be the church you read about in the New Testament.
